SlackBuild is just a sequence of commands which, if successful, is going to result in Slackware package being built. They're quite simple and without over-do magic. Used only in Slackware, to make life easier, have advantages and disadvantages. You can find more than one site around the world. The most popular site is http://slackbuilds.org where you can even submit SlackBuilds.

You can find my SlackBuilds at https://www.turnovfree.net/pub/linux/slackware/SlackBuilds/ I wanted to stuff them into GIT repo, but I've abandoned the idea for now.

These SlackBuilds are for “internal” use only, although you may use them freely. Some of them are official SlackBuilds modified to my needs and to way I want or think it makes sense. Without sugarcoating, I simply don't agree with everything given by Slackware and “we” behind it.
